Taxi driver Martin, transplant surgeon Robert, and Vojtech, an investigator from the police station on Lermontovova Street in Bratislava, first met in the story of the invisible Hotel Spirit on Freedom Square. They made a pact to help those in need without asking for anything in return. In their first joint investigation, they must confront strange and inexplicable phenomena at the AA Gallery on Panská Street in Bratislava. A painting by a young artist, Julius, disappears—only to mysteriously return the following day. Curiously, whenever one painting reappears, another one vanishes. It is discovered that the cause of this phenomenon is connected to a painting that disappeared a year earlier in Sweden. To unravel the mystery, Martin sets out with his friends for Malmö, where he believes he will find the answers. He has no idea what obstacles await him—or how difficult it will be to make the right decisions.
